The Wish: A Manual for a Last-Ditch Effort to Save Abortion in the United States Through Theater, is an urgent and electrifying piece that blends satire, ritual, and theatrical activism to confront the erosion of reproductive rights. This immersive, bold, and engaging production will bring audiences center stage with their fight for the right to choose. In a time of political uncertainty, Foolish reimagines the stage as a battleground for justice, where art and advocacy collide in unexpected ways.

The war is over and new possibilities of life await. Lovers Hero and Claudio and proud singletons Beatrice and Benedick have their limits of love tested in a wild mix of games, pranks, and mischief. Join Foolish Production Co as they take over meeting and common rooms of LA County Libraries all over the county, filling them with a joyful vivacity in this pre-summer celebration of love perfect for Shakespeare fans and newbies alike.

For the first time ever, Foolish is joining the rehearsaless and directorless game, but with our own Foolish twist. Using only cue scripts we will challenge our ensemble to prepare for a performance replicating the process of Shakespeare’s time.
