The Wish perfectly encapsulates the night of theater that we all need right now. Equal parts informative, poignant, witchy, and hilarious, this honest and thoughtful reflection on the state of abortion rights in America hits you right in the chest and sticks with you long after curtain call. It’s truly Foolish at its best! Bring your coven, bring your allies, and spread the word about this delightful piece of theater!

Reviews

THE WISH, tackles the subject of abortion and the loss of agency for women with empathy, anger, and facts. The talented cast members from Foolish Production Company, brought to life the characters carrying the message of the play. The fast paced direction by Sarah Hinchcliff and Mikey Mulhearn, kept the audience in wonder as to what character would walk through the door next. I loved every minute of the play. And I am going back!  As fearful as these times are- being in live theatre is the best antidote.

The Wish is a beautifully done interactive play that shows the state we are in after Roe was overturned that includes all of the anger, sadness, and frustration that I feel personally with enough funny moments to bring levity to the situation we are in. It had me reflecting on everything I have felt since Roe was overturned in away I have not allowed myself to think about it before. Best show I have seen all year!
